A family-run design-build team in Algonquin, IL.

DBC Home Remodel is a family-owned design-build remodeling company based in Algonquin, Illinois, serving homeowners across McHenry County and the surrounding suburbs. We specialize in custom kitchens, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, outdoor living spaces, tile work and honey-do projects, everything from a single room refresh to a full home transformation.

We built this company the way we'd want any craftsman to work in our own home: with clear communication, honest pricing and meticulous attention to detail. When you hire DBC, you work directly with the people who own the business, the same family that plans your project is the one standing in your kitchen reviewing the tile line and the cabinet reveal. There are no sales call centers, no subcontractor roulette and no hand-offs to someone you've never met.

Our process is simple and homeowner-first. It starts with a free, no-obligation estimate and a real conversation about what's possible for your space, your budget and your timeline. From there, we design the project with you, lock in the scope, and manage the build from demo day to the final walkthrough, keeping the jobsite clean, the schedule visible and the surprises to zero.

We serve Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, Crystal Lake, Huntley, Cary, McHenry and neighbors throughout McHenry County. As a licensed, insured and BBB-accredited local business, we stand behind every project we build, because our name and our neighborhood are on the line with every job.
